We established the Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation to assist in the improvement of social, educational and economic conditions in the communities that Cambridge Savings Bank serves.

The Foundation is a non-profit charitable foundation organized to assist in the improvement of social, educational and economic conditions in the communities that Cambridge Savings Bank serves – Acton, Arlington, Bedford, Belmont, Brookline, Burlington, Cambridge, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Medford, Newton, Somerville, Waltham, Watertown, Winchester, and Woburn.

The Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation reviews contribution requests using these guidelines:

  • The requesting organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
  • A substantial part of annual Foundation budget must be for organizations that serve the Bank’s communities
  • The purpose of the contribution must be for the direct benefit or for a relatively broad segment of the community.
  • Normally, only one contribution will be made to any one organization each year

The Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation Board meets on a quarterly basis and submission deadlines are January 31st, March 31st, June 30th and September 30th.
