IT Database Analyst

Cambridge Savings Bank has created a new position within our Information Technology department. As the Database Analyst you will be responsible for department and management reporting, data analysis, data consolidation, as well as database administration and troubleshooting. By utilizing industry standard applications, such as Crystal Reports, BI Query, Monarch, SQL Plus, and Microsoft SQL Management Studio, as well as our in-house web-based solution, you will help generate performance and actionable reports. You will also help provide database support to the different departments by assisting in troubleshooting applications that are database driven. As a key member on project teams, you will assist with the implementation, development, and documentation of Bank wide data driven solutions. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Additionally, you will be the backup to the IT Application Administrator for resetting passwords and setting up users for various applications.


Qualified candidates will possess a college education along with three to five years of Oracle or SQL database experience. Data mining tool experience such as BI Query, Monarch, and Crystal is needed. Organization, exceptional communication, and strong interpersonal skills are a requirement along with experience with Microsoft Office applications in an end-user environment. Occasional night and weekend work will be required for off-hours system updates.
