
Ian M. Brandon

Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Banking Officer
Ian brings more than 25 years of experience and a relationship-driven approach to commercial banking, having closed over $10 billion in transactions throughout his career. He believes that strong personal connections—and the referrals they generate—are at the heart of sustainable growth.
Ian has held senior roles at respected institutions including BankNorth, TD Bank, Emigrant Bank, and American Property Finance (APF), where he built a reputation for delivering client-centric solutions and leading high-performing teams.
He earned a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he also played lacrosse, and later received his MBA from Boston University. Ian is actively involved in several professional and civic organizations, including the Real Estate Finance Association, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Urban Land Institute, and the Real Estate Lenders Association.
He is a member of the Presidents Circle at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, serves on the financial advisory committee at the Winchendon School, and is a Friend of Hebrew Senior Life. At CSB, Ian is the executive sponsor of the Bank’s Black Employee Network Resource Group (BEN).
Originally born in Geneva, Switzerland, Ian moved to Newton, MA as a child and continues to enjoy traveling, skiing, and golfing. He lives in Boston with his wife and daughter.
